Peace and Blessings,

We at the African American Dance Ensemble (AADE), work hard each year

to preserve and share the finest traditions of African and African American

dance and music. We do this through research, education, entertainment

and to promote diversity for the benefit of all people. It’s an exciting time

for us as we are in the process of planning our annual Kwanzaa Fest

celebration.

Celebrating the holiday season and the Triangle's diversity, AADE’s annual Kwanzaa celebration is a time to enjoy family, community, and culture. Kwanzaa itself is a seven-day holiday that celebrates a different principle each day. Join us on the seventh day of Kwanzaa (January 1st), which is dedicated to Imani, or faith.

Kwanzaa Fest, is a family fun environment, promoting African American performing artists, as well as small businesses. The gathering is usually both an open market for vendors and a performing arts concert. The concert is filled with dancing, singing, poetry, and more. Artistic companies and artists from all over perform alongside the African American Dance Ensemble for a joyous showing of love, sharing, and inspiring entrepreneurship to begin the new year.

However, we think our efforts will go even further with a sponsorship from your company. Your generosity means the world to us. The support from our sponsors helps us host our most successful events yet. We would love to discuss further, so please contact us if you’d like to get involved or have any questions about our organization.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director, and the African American Dance Ensemble, we thank you for your donation.

Respectfully

Kwanzaa Fest Committee
